At Giunti Odeon the sequel to the cult hit Joker (2019), starring the great Joaquin Phoenix accompanied by a superlative Lady Gaga. Arthur Fleck is in prison for committing five murders (actually six, but the police are not aware of one), including the most sensational one on live national TV, and is awaiting the trial that will decide his punishment: his lawyer wants to ask for the mitigating factor of insanity to recognise the Arthur/Joker dual personality, while Deputy District Attorney Harvey Dent wants his head, invoking the death penalty. His jailers (and torturers) mock and humiliate him, but one of them allows him (by way of mockery) to join a choir of inmates which includes Lee, the young woman with whom Arthur instantly falls in love, glimpsing in her his first opportunity to be truly seen and welcomed: but is Lee in love with him or the Joker?
